Inspection, Survey, and Assessment of Heavily Cracked Dam Spillway Reinforced Concrete Wall
The following tasks were carried out:
- Detailed Inspection of the Reinforced Concrete Wall
- Selected 25 Cracks for investigation
- Measurement of all dimensions of Selected Cracks including Length, Width, and Depth
- Measuring the Depth of the Cracks utilising Ultrasonic Technology in accordance with BS 1881: Part 203
- Investigating the Effect of the Cracks on Service Life of the Structure through Mathematical Modelling
- Providing Recommendations for the Next Step of Investigation before Repairing of the Cracks
