PROJECT SCOPE:
- Conducted a review of the structural modelling, analysis, and load rating of the bridge.
- Designed structural strengthening measures to increase the bridge’s load capacity for B-Double vehicles, considering road traffic load configurations including W80 wheel load, A160 axle load, M1600 moving traffic load, and S1600 stationary traffic load.
- Produced detailed structural strengthening drawings.
- Developed a mathematical model of the bridge using the finite element platform CSI-SAP2000 to analyse structural behaviour and estimate element demands and load rating factors.
