PROJECT SCOPE:
- Development of a structural finite element (FE) model of the stilling basin diaphragm wall based on the available drawings and documentation.

Structural analysis of the existing diaphragm wall subjected to unilateral hydrostatic pressure. The review included verification of:
- Bending behaviour (deflection)
- Sliding stability under lateral pressure
- Overturning stability
- Determination of Capacity-to-Demand Ratios (CDR) to confirm structural performance.
- Design of strengthening components capable of underwater installation and removal by divers while the channel remains operational.
- Finite element analysis and structural design of a temporary bulk gate system, engineered for underwater installation and dismantling by divers.
